Coronation Street cast: ‘I did lose it’ Tina O'Brien admits ‘I needed to get over myself’

When asked if there was a moment it all became too much, Tina commented: “Corrie said I hadn’t had a bridezilla moment. So I will take that! But that’s a lie.”

The mother-of-two continued: “When I was organising the favours for the tables, I did lose it. Adam’s mum made little bottles of drinks – there was Christmas pudding vodka, orange cello and plum brandy.

“I wanted the labels to be a berry colour but on my computer screen they looked purple.”

She went on: “I did have a little yell about that. Then I thought I just needed to get over myself.”

On whether he’d stayed calm, Adam stated: “I’ve been pretty laid back and everything went well. We just about got there and we agreed on most things about the day.”

Meanwhile, Tina also spoke about how involved she was in planning the nuptials, that were held in Manchester city centre.

She said: “I felt it was important that I was involved in the creative side of the day. Corrie made really beautiful elements for the table.

“I wanted to try and be kind to the environment so I didn’t want lots of plastic or things that would be thrown away.”

Tina then added: “Rather than having cardboard place settings, we had a leaf with guests’ names written on it.”

It comes just days she gave fans a glimpse into their honeymoon at the Gilpin Hotel and Lake House.

She wrote: “Throw back to this time last week mini-mooning with my husband @adamcrofts What a trip.”

Tina was even seen naked in the tub in her luxury bathroom before showcasing the food on offer and their amazing, countryside view.

“I wish I could do it all again,” Tina wrote on Instagram. “I truly had the best day ever. All nerves and anxiety about walking down the aisle (for people who don’t know me I’m actually quite shy in certain situations) all of that evaporated when I realised I was surrounded by love and friendship.

“I got to marry my best friend and lover thanks @adamcrofts for committing to put up with my little bit of crazy.”
