Yellowstone volcano WARNING: Eruption IMMINENT after ‘nature provides key clue’

The supervolcano, located in Yellowstone National Park, has erupted three times in history, 2.1 million years ago, 1.2 million years ago and 640,000 years ago. Scientists have previously warned how they may have as little as two weeks to prepare an evacuation should an earthquake occur. However, despite the huge array of predictive technology, nature could prove to be the most valuable sign should crisis strike, it has been revealed.

YouTube channel Underworld produced a mini-series called “What If Yellowstone Erupted Tomorrow?”, providing an insight into how it could play out.

The 2016 documentary revealed: “Before the blast, there would be serious warning signs.

“Massive earthquakes would be evident from unusual behaviour from animals.

“This would be a big giveaway even before the ground began to swell.

“Eventually one of the earthquakes would break the layer of rock that holds the magma in.

“Flights would then be grounded in the US and maybe even the world – life would come to a halt.”

Yellowstone National Park holds a wide variety of wild animals including bison, bears, sheep, coyotes, moose, mountain goats and many more.

The last time Yellowstone erupted, 2,500 times more volcanic material was produced than in the 1980 eruption of Mount St Helens.

This created an eruptive column so colossal that it covered about 60 per cent of the US in a thick layer of ash.

Should this happen again it is likely these animals would flee the area for safety, but they would struggle to make it out alive.

Following the eruption, enormous pyroclastic flows would blast their way across the park and the surrounding area.

This mixture of ash, lava blebs, and superheated gas exceed temperatures of 1,000C and can move at speeds of up to 300mph.

They are predicted to spread more than 100 miles out from Yellowstone, burying states like Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Colorado in three feet of harmful volcanic ash.
