Arsenal transfer news: Belgian expert reveals truth to Yannick Carrasco deal claims

Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with moves for Carrasco this month.

The former Atletico Madrid star is supposedly disgruntled in China, despite only moving to the Far East last January and pocketing some of the biggest wages in world football.

Arsenal have been linked with Carrasco, with Belgian journalist Terreur rubbishing the reports on Tuesday.

“Yannick Carrasco linked with Arsenal by Sky Italia, just like in January 2018, before he moved to China,” he tweeted.

“Man United mentioned too – cheap name dropping.

“A transfer will be expensive (wages & fee) and is he physically ready to make an immediate impact in the PL?”

But Terreur has now changed his tune.

And he insists Arsenal HAVE been offered the Belgium international.

“Yannick Carrasco (25) has been offered to Arsenal, who are searching for a winger,” he tweeted.

“Player will have to take a pay cut.

“#AFC have a limited transfer budget.

“Carrasco willing to leave Dalian after one year in China.”

Arsenal are not the only club to have been linked with a move for Carrasco this month.

Manchester United have also supposedly been offered the chance to sign the former Atletico star.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have bigger issues in defence.

AC Milan are another club who could secure his signature.

But whether the San Siro outfit are able to convince him to join remains to be seen.
