Kevin Spacey pulled over by police on the way home from sexual assault hearing

The House of Cards actor was seen talking to officers next to his car. The moment was captured on video by a passer-by. Mr Spacey is believed to have arrived at the airport after flying from Massachusetts, where he appeared in court earlier in the day.

The 59-year old, facing accusations of indecent assault and battery, pleaded not guilty on both accounts in the Nantucket courtroom.

He could serve five years in prison if convicted.

Mr Spacey was mobbed by press outside the courthouse, after arriving by private jet.

The hearing, which the famed actor was forced to attend after a judge denied his request to be charged in his absence, lasted just 10 minutes.

The court case comes more than a year after accusations emerged that Mr Spacey groped an 18-year old boy in a bar after plying him with alcohol in 2016.

According to prosecutors, the teenager told police the actor assaulted him as they stood together at a piano.

He said he had a video of the incident and had sent a clip via Snapchat to his girlfriend.

Mr Spacey’s legal team said the video does not prove his guilt.

The alleged victim is the son of Boston TV anchor Heather Unruh, who spoke out publicly last year.

Mr Spacey’s next court date is March 4, but Judge Thomas Barrett said he need not appear in person.

However, he is to have no contact with his accuser or his accuser’s family.

The alleged victim, who will not be present during the criminal trial, is also suing Mr Spacey in civil court.
