FIFA 19 TOTY – UPDATE ONE: The FIFA 19 Team of the Year forwards FUT cards are out now.
The FIFA 19 TOTY forwards cards became available to get at 6pm UK time on Monday January 7 and will be available until the same time on Tuesday January 8.
The FIFA 19 TOTY forwards cards are for football superstars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
Ronaldo, listed as a ST, has an overall rating of 99 as does Messi who is tagged as a CF. Mbappe, meanwhile, has a 97 rating as a RW.
ORIGINAL: FIFA 19 TOTY line-up has been revealed today by EA, with forwards FUT cards releasing on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later today.
The FIFA 19 TOTY squad was selected from a shortlist of 55 of the world’s best players that were whittled down to just 11.
Ballot boxes for the FIFA 19 TOTY were sent out last week with voting closing on Saturday.
The official EA Sports FIFA Twitter account revealed the FIFA 19 TOTY line-up today and said forwards will become the first FUT cards pack available.
Alongside the FIFA 19 TOTY squad reveal the FIFA Twitter posted: “Forwards will be available in-game from 6 pm UK!”

Describing how the FIFA 19 TOTY voting took place, EA previously said: “For the second year in the row, the Team of The Year will be voted on by a carefully curated list of media, athletes, and EA SPORTS FIFA community members.
“This collective of ballot recipients has been chosen to represent the millions of EA SPORTS FIFA players all over the world.
“Each team will be selected from a shortlist of 55 players, nominated by EA SPORTS for their real-world performance in 2018.
“Custom-built ballot boxes have been delivered to each recipient, containing all 55 of the nominee player items.
“Each vote will consist of three attackers, three midfielders, four defenders, and one goalkeeper in a 4-3-3 formation.
“Each ballot recipient will cast their vote by posting a photo of their team on social media with #TOTYVote by January 7.”
