UPDATE ONE: EA Sports has confirmed that new FIFA 19 TOTY packs will be going live on PS4, Xbox One and PC very soon.
Packs containing forwards are expected to be live on all platforms by 6pm, GMT, meaning just a short wait for those who haven’t got them yet.
So while forwards will be available tonight, FIFA 19 TOTY players from other positions won’t be released until later this week.

ORIGINAL: The Ultimate XI players available in FIFA 19 will be announced today by EA Sports.
The FIFA 19 TOTY Voting has been open in a variety of different ways and will culminate today in a final Ultimate Team squad.
There are a total of 55 players who have a shot at being part of the new FIFA TOTY and will also mean a lot will miss out.
Voting officially closed for the event earlier this month, meaning that no last minute changes can be made on PS4, Xbox, PC or Nintendo Switch.
FIFA 19 TOTY VOTING
EA Sports allowed for voting among a list of chosen media, athletes, and EA Sports FIFA community members.
According to EA, the “collective of ballot recipients have been chosen to represent the millions of EA SPORTS FIFA players all over the world.
“Each team will be selected from a shortlist of 55 players, nominated by EA SPORTS for their real-world performance in 2018.”
From the latest that has been shared by EA Sports, each vote will consist of three attackers, three midfielders, four defenders, and one goalkeeper in a 4-3-3 formation.
And each ballot recipient will cast their vote by posting a photo of their team on social media with #TOTYVote by January 7.
However, it should be noted that the ballots submitted by this group will only account for 60% of the final vote.
That means the remaining 40% of the votes will be cast by EA Sports, meaning the outcome is far from certain.
WHEN WILL FIFA 19 TOTY BE REVEALED?
The final FIFA 19 Team of the Year will be announced today, January 7, for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Special TOTY player items will be available in packs for a limited time in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team, offering some serious boosts for Ultimate Team squads.
The bad news is that EA Sports has not announced a set time for when the final TOTY will be revealed.
However, based on past years, it seems likely that we will start to find out news from 3pm, GMT.
It’s unclear if EA Sports will be announcing the team in waves, based on positions, or by another means.
The tweet revealing that the FIFA 19 TOTY squad would be announced on January 7 was published on January 2, just after 2pm UK time.
That might indicate when the FIFA 19 TOTY squad will get revealed on January 7.
