‘Elvis is ALIVE’ Frenzy as name on singer's grave revealed as ‘WRONG’ on 84th birthday

The “Hound Dog” singer would have turned 84 today, had he not passed away on August 16, 1977, at just 42 years old. Elvis died at his home after suffering a cardiac arrest, said to have been brought on following his years of prescription drug abuse. However, some refuse to accept this as the truth, with rumours circulating he left a sign on his tombstone to prove he is still alive.

The star’s headstone to the grave in Memphis, Tennessee, US, reads as follows: “Elvis Aaron Presley.

“He was a precious gift from God we cherished and loved dearly.”

However, fans have pointed out the middle name, Aaron, is not spelt correctly.

They quickly pointed out his birth certificate actually spells the name “Aron”.

A YouTube video was uploaded in January 2016, revealing the bombshell finding and now the same footage has gained popularity once again.

One comment read: “Elvis is still alive”.

While another suggested: “Let him live his life in peace.”

Yesterday, American author Gail Brewer-Giorgio made headlines after it was claimed she had a voice recording of Elvis from 1981 – four years after his death.

In the tape, a man who sounds similar to Elvis says: “People ask me all the time where I’m living, and naturally I can’t say, but it’s a good place to hide.

“There was an island that I learned about a long time ago and I guess I always knew, some day, I’d probably have to use it.

“Anyway, I must have spent a year on the island.

“I started travelling all over the world and it’s been enjoyable but it’s been a constant battle of growing beards and this and that to keep from being recognised.”

He continues: “I realise that sooner or later it’s probably going to end.

“You know I hate to think it’s going to end, but I know sometimes the secret [of being alive] has got to be let out and if it hadn’t have been for getting involved in what I’m involved in now, things and such, maybe it’d be different.

“As far as appearing nationally, I think it would be silly to get back into something that’s taken me this long to get out of.”

Voice recognition expert L.H. Williams later claimed it was Elvis speaking.

He said: “The known voice of Elvis Presley compared with the voice on this tape is the same.”

Many have disputed Elvis’ death due to the inconsistencies and complications during the autopsy of his body.

Dr Jerry Francisco had offered a cause of death before the medical examination was complete, claiming the underlying ailment was cardiac arrhythmia, a condition that can be determined only in someone who is still alive.

Elvis’ father, Vernon Presley, added fuel to the fire when he had the results of the autopsy sealed for 50 years, meaning we will not know the truth until 2027.

It also came to light Dr George Nichopoulos, who was later cleared of any wrongdoing, had prescribed more than 10,000 doses of sedatives, amphetamines and narcotics in the eight months prior to the death.

His license was suspended for three months and it was permanently revoked in the 1990s after the Tennessee Medical Board brought new charges of over-prescription.
