Tottenham transfer news: I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets over the line – Sky expert

And that man appears to Dembele who is keen on a move to China.

Bridge told the Transfer Talk podcast: “Beijing Sinobo Guoan have made an approach, we understand, to sign Mousa Dembele. I wouldn’t be surprised if this does get over the line.

“He’s out of contract at the end of the season and it was my understanding last summer that he could leave then but it didn’t happen.

“Dembele picked up a nasty ankle injury in November at Wolves and he’s only just returned to training.

“Pochettino said in his-Tranmere press conference that he didn’t know what was happening with Dembele – of course he probably does.

“It looks like he will be on his way if they receive a fee for him.

“You’d imagine it will be a very decent wage for Dembele as well.

“Sissoko has been brilliant for Tottenham in the last two months playing alongside Harry Winks.

“I do worry about that central midfield but Eric Dier is coming back after having his appendix removed.”

Spurs are looking for replacements with Lyon’s Tanguy N’Dombele, Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure, Ajax’s Donny van de Beek and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria said to be options.
