PSN DOWN: PS4 server status latest as PlayStation Network not working for HUNDREDS

PSN down reports are surging right now with hundreds of PS4 fans having issues with the PlayStation Network.

Independent outage monitor Down Detector has received hundreds of reports of PSN down today.

Out of those PSN down reports some 50 per cent of PS4 fans were having sign in issues with the PlayStation Network.

While over a quarter of affected PSN users were having issues with online gameplay.

Down Detector is an independent website which tracks social mentions around specific topics to detect when popular services go down.

As the issues hit PS4 fans flocked to Twitter to report PSN down today.

One fan tweeted: “#psn down!!”

While another posted: “Fix it PSN! #psndown #psn“.

And one added: “PSN down #psn #Playstation #playstationnetwork”.

According to the Down Detector outage map, the area biggest hit by the reported PSN issues today is Japan.

Gamers in the UK and Europe are also affected by the PSN issues, according to the outage monitor.

Since the reports emerged the Ask PlayStation UK Twitter account has been responding to gamers who say they are affected by the PSN issues.

In one message to a PS4 user @AskPS_UK said: “Hello, we are receiving reports about this just now and are looking into the matter.

“We appreciate your patience while this gets done.”
