Rashford scored his seventh goal of the season to help Manchester United beat Ameobi’s old club Newcastle 2-0 on Wednesday.
Ameobi was impressed with what he saw from the England man and he thinks he will be worth an absolute fortune.
Ameobi said on Sky Sports: “You look at this technique, the goalkeeper is going to be very disappointed with that, but it is a very hard strike to keep a hold of.
“It’s evolution isn’t it, from a young player who’s in there.
“I think the more games you play, you mentioned he’s played nearly 150 games now, I think having a manager who’s been a striker, who’s been in those positions can speak to you in a way I guess maybe others haven’t been able to.
“I think for certainly for the strikers this is a massive deal for Rashford.
“We see the talent he’s got but if he can add that last little bit, he’s going to be worth £200m in a couple of years.”
Caretaker-boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised Rashford after his strike and said: “He gets kicked, he gets tackled. He goes for headers and challenges.
