Nostradamus 2019 prophecy: Does the Bible prove Nostradamus was right?

Among Nostradamus’ most dire warnings are the threat of World War 3 and the possibility of a killer asteroid slamming into Earth. The 16th-century mystic, widely considered a powerful clairvoyant, is often credited with predicting the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Great Fire of London. Michel de Nostradame’s detractors, however, point out Nostradamus’ prophecies are too cryptic to be considered visionary and dismiss claims of his supernatural powers. Despite this, many conspiracy theorists choose to believe Nostradamus did indeed predict cataclysmic events will unfold in the near future.

Evangelical preacher and doomsday prophet Paul Begley, from West Lafayette in Indiana, is not entirely convinced Nostradamus was the real deal.

In a recently broadcast online sermon, pastor Begley analysed Nostradamus’ visions of the future and linked his prophecy to apocalyptic scripture in the Bible.

In pastor Begley’s opinion, humanity is now living in the “prophetic era”.

He said: “There’s no question about it. Prophecy is a key point of the Bible.

“Seventy-five percent of the Bible is prophetic and over half of those prophecies have been fulfilled.

“Many more are coming together in those last days – they’re happening at an incredible pace and when you speak of prophecy you have to talk bout of course of the Book of Revelation.”

But where does Nostradamus fit into this puzzle and does the Bible support the bulk of his work?

Not according to pastor Begley, who claimed none of Nostradamus’ predictions are real prophecy, which he said can only come from God.

However, he said it is highly unusual and incredible how eerily accurate Nostradamus’ predictions have been so far.

Pastor Begley said: “Nostradamus’ prophecies are open to interpretation because he wrote in four stanza riddles.

“You know, look, he predicted the London Fire, he predicted the rise of Hitler, the Holocaust, he predicted the JFK assassination, he predicted World War Two – man, I could of the top of my head a bunch of them.

“But he also missed a bunch. His accuracy is around 70 percent, so no, I do not call them prophecies.

“Prophecies are 100 percent accurate. Predictions can vary ok?

“But it is fascinating to look at and people always want to know what it says and it’s ok because sometimes, some of those predictions do match Bible prophecy.

“Not always, but some of them do and so we take look at it because of folks who are curious. People are curious.”

According to the firebrand preacher, Nostradamus predicted the end of the world but pastor Begley refuted the claim saying no man or woman will truly know the time or date.

He said: “People make predictions but the Bible makes prophecies.”
