Unai Emery on Gary Cahill

Emery was asked about Arsenal’s plans in this month’s transfer window and if there was any interest in Cahill following their 4-1 win over Fulham.

And the Arsenal boss said: “We didn’t speak about him.

He added: “It depends if the transfer market can help you – only if there are players who can help us in different positions. The club is looking to see.”

Liverpool move ON

Liverpool starlet Dominic Solanke is set to make a loan move to Crystal Palace.

The youngster has been tipped to leave Anfield in order to get some game time.

And after sitting on the bench for the first half of the season, the 21-year-old is set to move to London in the quest for some first-team action.

The move now seems so certain that bookmakers Paddy Power have suspended betting on Solanke signing a loan deal at Crystal Palace.

Solskjaer Man Utd transfer plans revealed

Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not desperate to sign a defender in January.

Jose Mourinho was adamant United needed a new centre-half in the summer.

United interim manager Solskjaer has confirmed he will have a say in the club’s January transfer plans.

And according to Bleacher Report, Solskjaer isn’t concerned about signing a new defender this month.

They say the Norwegian is keen to play attacking football and he’s more than happy with Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic sitting in front of the back four.

Arsenal want Chelsea deal

Arsenal are monitoring Gary Cahill’s situation at Chelsea as they look to bolster their defensive options this January.

Arsenal are in an injury crisis and manager Unai Emery is seeking defensive recruits.

Cahill is all but set to leave Chelsea this month and hasn’t played for the Blues since November.

According to the Telegraph, Cahill has hired a personal trainer to ensure his fitness levels are maintained.

Fulham are said to be one of the other clubs interested and may stand a decent chance as Cahill wants to start games.

The former England centre half has played for Chelsea for six years and has won every major honour in his time with the west London club.

Three Chelsea deals

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is hoping to splash the cash this month.

And according to The Sun, Sarri is hoping to complete at least three deals this month.

They say Sarri wants attacking reinforcements and at least one defender before the transfer window shuts.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Christian Pulisic.
