Federer and Williams have a combined 43 Grand Slam singles titles having dominated their respective tours for nearly 20 years.
The two greats have never played each other before but that will finally be put right in front of a sold-out crowd at the Perth Arena
Federer and Williams welcomed the new year in style at the black-tie Hopman Cup New Year’s Eve Gala.
And speaking at the event, Williams has expressed her amazement at how Federer copes with two sets of twins.
“I cannot imagine having two sets of twins!” Williams said.
“I really cannot imagine how. You’re like Super Super Super Man over there.
“Because it’s hard with just one!
“It just goes to show you how we as players can go so far in our careers but still have our lives which mean so much to us as well.”
