Joan Collins sends fans wild with SECRET behind unrecognisable New Year’s Eve snap

Dame Joan Collins, 85, took to her Twitter to share a 38-year-old picture of her flashing her sensational physique in a bikini. The actress looked a world away from her current appearance putting on a busty display in a yellow two-piece accompanied with gold earrings and a necklace. Joan showcased her radiant complexion by wearing minimal make-up and posed holding a cigarette in her hand. Unveiling the secret behind her desirable body, she commented: “This was #NewYearEve #1980 – the results of endless sessions of #Pilates.”

Joan’s racy picture received a mass of compliments from many of her social media fans.

One user commented: “And still an inspiration … incredible lady happy NY.”

A second wrote: “You look better now than you did then! How is that possible? Is there a painting of you in an attic somewhere?”

A third penned: “Still looking totally fabulous x.”

A fourth added: “The most Beautiful woman ever.”

Joan also shared the snap to her Instagram page; receiving further comments from many of her 128,000 followers.

The author posted the eye-popping upload just days after she shared a sentimental snap of her with her late sister Jackie Collins.

The latter passed away in 2015 aged 78 after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

In her memory, Joan shared a picture of the pair alongside their best friend, taken on a night out in London.

She commented: “Just discovered this selfie of my darling sister @jackiejcollins with her best friend Jan Gold in London a few days before her death.”

Many of her fans sent their condolences to the actress.

One user wrote: “Soooo missed… gone to soon… But what a great photo… Nice memories.”

A second commented: “Beautiful photo. Still can’t believe she’s gone.”

A third added: “Beautiful photo. Still can’t believe she’s gone.”

Joan recently said she believes “little flies” that come near her could be Jackie.

She told The Mirror: “I have this little fly that comes near me all the time. It’s really strange. I think it might be my sister.

“I know that sounds weird, and I don’t know whether I believe in the afterlife or not. My opinion is still out to lunch about that.

“But it is weird that wherever I go, at least two or three times a week – wherever I am, France, London – this little fly comes.”
