Brock Lesnar SHOCK update: WWE legend may leave after Royal Ruble and miss WrestleMania

According to Ringside News, Mike Johnson of PWInsider is not sure Lesnar will be part of WWE after his scheduled Universal Championship defence against Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble.

That means The Beast could lose his belt to The Monster Among Men on January 27 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona if he is not included in WWE’s plans for WrestleMania.

Johnson pointed out that The Conqueror hasn’t even been used in WWE’s attempts to promote Mania which takes place next year on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.

He said: “I wonder if Brock’s gonna be with them past the Rumble because you know everyone figured Brock was out the door.

“Is he even factored into their WrestleMania plans?

“We haven’t seen him advertised or even footage of him being used to promote WrestleMania 35.

“So I wonder if he’s out the door at the Rumble.

“But I guess that’s the allure of Brock is that, ‘Is this the end of Brock’s run?’ And it turns out not to be.”

Lesnar has been working on a part-time basis with WWE ever since his return to Vince McMahon’s promotion in 2012.

The UFC legend’s last three world title reigns didn’t change his schedule despite the fans’ frustrations as they never saw their world champion in action.

The six-time world champion has been linked with a return to UFC for a Heavyweight Championship Match against Daniel Cormier.

UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion Cormier is keen to face Lesnar and even urged him to put the Universal Championship on the line when they ultimately meet in the Octagon.

DC said: “Brock Lesnar, when you come, bring that new WWE title.

“I feel like becoming a WWE champion too.

“Bring that belt with you if you come to my house.”
