Susan Boyle, 57, was the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up in 2009 and now the star is competing across the pond in the talent contest America’s Got Talent: The Champions. The show’s Instagram account uploaded a snap of the singer dressed in a sequinned ensemble singing on stage. The caption read: “Susan Boyle is back for #AGTChampions and she’s bringing all the feels. Who’s ready for her to bring the magic?”Fans could not contain their excitement about the hotly anticipated performance as they inundated the America’s Got Talent Instagram page with compliments.

One fan wrote: “I loved her audition for Britain’s Got Talent!! I’m so excited for AGT The Champions.”

A second fan replied: “I can’t wait! @susanboylemusic has an amazing voice! Loved her from the get-go!”

While a third person commented: “Her voice is just BREATHTAKING!” (sic)

Susan recently took to social media to confirm her appearance on America’s Got Talent which will see notable contestants from previous series’ as well as others from the Got Talent franchise return to the stage.

The announcement said: “Susan is so excited to announce that she will be competing on @AGT The Champions in the New Year!

“Tune In on Monday 7th January at 8/7c on NBC! #AGTChampions.”

Other Got Talent stars taking part will be sword swallower Alex Magala, Ashleigh Butler and her pet pooch Sully plus shadow theatre group Attraction as well as 10 more. 

Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel will act as judges, while Terry Crews will be hosting.

Meanwhile, Susan recently broke her silence on social media to share a rare message with her fans on Twitter as she celebrated Christmas ahead of her big comeback.

The I Dreamed A Dream singer shared a festive message with her 27,000 Twitter followers.

The message read: “Wishing all of my wonderful fans a very Merry Christmas.

“I hope your day is filled with lots of love, joy and laughter!”

Fans took to the comments section to return the Christmas wishes, with one saying: “Same to you Susan. I want to see you and hear you soon. You are an inspiration.”

“Thank you for being you and for your wonderful music,” another chipped in. “Hope to hear more songs by you in 2019.”

“Merry Christmas. Was hoping a new album was coming this year,” a third added.

America’s Got Talent: The Champions begins January 7 on NBC.
