Best supplements for weight loss – beat festive weight gain with these TEA capsules

Weight loss could crucial for some overweight or obese patients. Around 25 per cent of all adults in the UK are obese.

The best way to lose weight is by making changes to your diet or lifestyle routines.

But taking weight loss supplements may help patients to kickstart their new weight loss diet plans.

You could lower your chances of obesity by taking daily oolong tea supplements, it’s been claimed.

Oolong tea is a Taiwanese type of tea that contains more antioxidants than green tea, scientists have claimed.

It’s been claimed to increase metabolism, boost fat transfer, and prevent the spread of fat cells to maintain weight loss.

Regularly taking supplements, or drinking oolong tea, could help to burn up to 3.4 per cent more total calories every day.

“While there is growing interest in green tea, particularly the famous matcha green tea from Japan, there are other varieties that can offer exemplary benefits as well,” said physician Dr Joseph Mercola.

“Take oolong, for example: It offers potential for weight loss, heart health and a wide array of health issues.

“Yet, it only accounts for two per cent of overall tea consumption worldwide.

“The polyphenols in oolong tea help control fat metabolism in the body by activating certain enzymes.

“A 2001 study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that participants who ingested either full-strength or diluted oolong tea burned 2.9 to 3.4 per cent more total calories daily.”

Drinking oolong tea could also boost brain function and keep bones strong, he added.

Elderly people that regularly drink black and oolong tea have a 64 per cent lower risk of brain function decline, he said.

The antioxidants in oolong tea could even help to maintain a healthy heart, and lower heart disease risk by 61 per cent, it’s been claimed.

The best way to lose weight is to making some small diet or lifestyle swaps, said the NHS.

One of the easiest ways to slash the pounds is to eat regular meals – including breakfast, it added.

Drink plenty of water, and be sure to eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables every day.

Fibre-rich foods help you to feel fuller for longer, which stops you from overeating.

Exercise is equally as important as a healthy diet. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity every week.
