Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard, 24, took to his Instagram to post a picture of him posing with his hand placed on his head. The dancer gave his 322,000 social media fans a side view of his face as he looked away from the camera. AJ uploaded the picture with a simple love heart and camera emoji followed by the photographer’s Instagram handle as his caption.The model-type upload received a mass of compliments from his fans but his co-star Lee, 35, flippantly mocked his latest offering.
Lee Ryan commented: “Are you airing a smelly armpit?”
Finding the remark humorous, AJ replied: “How did you know,” followed by crying with laughter emojis.
Continuing the joke, Lee responded: “I’ve danced next to you a few times”, alongside the nauseated emoji.
Others joined in with the banter, with one user writing: “Poor Lauren [Steadman].”
Lee’s comment comes just days after Neil Jones, 36, revealed what AJ really smelled like.
Katya Jones’ husband was quizzed by an Instagram follower what AJ smelled of, to which he simply replied: “Talcum powder.”
Meanwhile, AJ recently unveiled a major change on his social media page.
Taking to his Instagram story, he showcased his new highlighted hair in a Boomerang clip.
Giving his fans the best possible view he tilted his head up and down; captioning the video: “Loving my highlights.”
AJ’s makeover comes just weeks after he and Lauren’s Strictly journey came to an end in the semi-final round of the show.
The pair missed out on a slot in the final after the judges favoured Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev in the dreaded dance-off.
The dancer recently gushed over his partnership with Lauren, saying he was protective of the Paralympian.
He told The Mirror: “I am very protective of Lauren because we have worked so closely together.
“There are different things that she will talk about in training that she would never talk about on camera.
“It’s for that reason that we have grown so close together and we will be friends for life and who knows in the future.
“You never know what is going to happen.”
