Galaxy S10 rumours – Here’s everything we know about this Samsung phone so far

Galaxy S10 is presumed to debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

The technology show will take place from February 25 to February 28.

Galaxy S10 is expected to come in at least three varieties, a move that would represent huge divergence from Samsung tradition.

In addition to arriving in standard and “+” variants, the Galaxy S10 is also expected to come in a more affordable version that forgoes a few premium features in exchange for a lower cost overall.

Bloomberg noted one of the biggest changes between the regular Galaxy S10 models and the cheaper option is the latter will not feature a signature Samsung curved display.

Instead the cheaper S10 was said to come with a flat panel.

All models of the Galaxy S10 are expected to tout a futuristic all-screen design with incredibly minimal bezels.

Most interestingly however, it has been heavily rumoured the Galaxy S10 will feature a cutout in its panel for its front-facing camera.

That means some models of the device could look similar in form to the Galaxy A8s that was recently revealed by the South Korean tech giant.

However, the Galaxy S10+ has been tipped to feature dual front-facing cameras.

And although the function of the secondary lens has not been discussed, it could provide wide-angle functionality.

Notable leaker Evan Blass recently discussed the alleged screen sizes of the three Galaxy S10 models in question.

He labelled the cheaper handset the “Galaxy S10 Lite”, although the name or existence of the device has not been confirmed by Samsung.

Blass stated the S10 Lite will come with a 5.8-inch display while the S10 and S10+ will come with 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch panels respectively.

Moreover, Gizmodo has also discussed the expected prices and storage variants of each S10 model.

They are:

• Galaxy S10 Lite, 128GB storage – £669

• Galaxy S10, 128GB storage – £799

• Galaxy S10, 512GB storage – £999

• Galaxy S10+, 128GB – £899

• Galaxy S10+, 512GB – £1,099

• Galaxy S10+, 1TB storage – £1,399

Some models of the Galaxy S10 have been rumoured to arrive with three cameras on their rear.

Evan Blass emphasised the function of each could be similar to what is currently offered on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

That is because he stated some models of the S10 will come with a standard lens that is accompanied by a wide-angle and telephoto sensor.

The Wall Street Journal has insisted a fourth model of the Galaxy S10 is also being developed that has a gargantuan 6.7-inch display, six cameras and is capable of delivering fans 5G network speeds.

The outlet also stated the phone is also capable of wirelessly charging other devices that are placed on its rear, just like the Mate 20 Pro.

The price of this device is currently unknown.

Rumours have been heating up in recent months about the Galaxy S10, so expect more leaks to emerge in the weeks leading up to the phone’s launch.

Although speculation about the device is incredibly tantalising, Samsung fans will have to wait until February to see what the handset truly has in store.
