WWE SmackDown PREVIEW: The Miz hosts talkshow, Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe, title match sorted

US title match

Shinsuke Nakamura will defend the US Championship against Rusev two weeks after The Bulgarian Brute pinned the champion in a Tag Team Match.

The Super Athlete is determined to dethrone Nakamura and reclaim the belt he has won twice in his career.

But he will have to overcome The King of Strong Style’s mind games as he called him a “total diva” after releasing a montage of some embarrassing moments he had on the hit reality TV Series Total Divas.

Shane McMahon on Miz TV

The Miz has been trying his hardest to convince Shane McMahon to form a tag team partnership with him for weeks.

The A-Lister even met with Shane’s father and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon for his blessing but was told that he has to prove himself first.

The Miz was paired up with Mandy Rose and together they picked up an impressive victory over this year’s Mixed Match Challenge winners R-Truth and Carmella.

That was a huge confidence boost for the ex-WWE Champion who will make one more effort to convince Shane when the SmackDown Commissioner appears as his guest on Miz TV.

Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe has been mocking Jeff Hardy’s past struggles with addiction for weeks and even tried to stage an intervention last Tuesday.

However, Hardy retaliated and pointed out Joe’s shortcomings in the ring ever since he joined the main roster from NXT last year.

That infuriated The Destroyer who tried to attack but The Charismatic Enigma caught him with the Twist of Fate.

Their feud has reached boiling point and the two superstars are expected to go to war on SmackDown.

Sanity chaos

Eric Young, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe interfered during a match that saw The Usos taking on Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson last week.

Sanity attacked both teams just before SmackDown Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro could get in the ring and put an end to the match.

Will the ex-NXT Tag Team Champions’ path of destruction continue on Christmas?
