Klay Thompson: Did Steve Kerr drop huge clue Warriors star is on the way to Lakers?

Golden State Warriors beat LA Clippers 129-127 last night but Thompson once again underperformed with just 12 points.

The shooting guard’s future is up in the air amid rumours of a move to Los Angeles Lakers.

And Warriors head coach Kerr has revealed Thompson’s demeanour is not helping him turn his form around.

San Francisco Chronicle reporter Connor Letourneau highlighted Kerr’s worries with a post on Twitter.

“Steve Kerr had a shocking answer when asked whether Klay Thompson’s demeanour has changed during his shooting slump,” he said.

Kerr had bluntly commented “same as always” when asked of Thompson’s attitude.

Meanwhile, Thompson’s team-mate Kevin Durant is also out of contract at the end of the season.

The small forward has admitted he could move on to pastures new.

But first Durant is solely focussed on getting the best of LeBron James and the Lakers in tomorrow’s Christmas Day showdown.

“I’ve seen them for about five or six games this season,” he said.

“They’re playing fast, they’re playing fast, man.

“Energetic basketball.

“You can tell they’re over this last stretch, they’ve been having a nice little winning streak.

“Obviously LeBron is a force on the floor with his strength, his passing and his scoring ability.

“It just opens it up for everybody else, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, JaVale [McGee].

“They’re getting some great minutes, and we know Kuzma is that second guy behind LeBron, so we’ve got a tough game ahead of us.”
