The 24-year-old British-born professional unveiled his makeover on Instagram yesterday, showing off his newly highlighted hair to his 321,000 followers on his story. AJ Pritchard tilted his head up and down in a Boomerang, giving fans the best possible view of the fresh blonde streaks. “Loving my highlights,” he said, tagging Hype Hair Whitchurch. He also debuted the look as the Strictly Come Dancing star enjoyed festive drinks with his brother Curtis Pritchard and a friend.
In one snap, which AJ uploaded to Instagram, he and Curtis sipped champagne in front of a huge Christmas tree.
“In the Christmas spirit,” he captioned the post.
A second picture showed the brothers laughing as they smiled for the camera, AJ showcasing his freshly blonder ‘do.
Fans flocked to the comments section to compliment the Strictly pro, with one writing: “Handsome guys!”
“Two Pritchards for the price of one, Christmas has come early,” another quipped, while a third added: “God your brother is just as drop dead gorgeous as you are.”
AJ’s new look comes after he opened up about Strictly star Lauren Steadman, 25, having previously hinted their could be romance in their future.
Asked about choreographing for the Paralympian, who was born without the lower part of her right arm, on The Telegraph’s Talking Strictly podcast, he said: “I think the fantastic thing with Lauren is that she is so determined.
“Yes, when it comes down to the choreography, I do think — well actually I’d usually ran her hand and obviously the hand’s not there.
“So it gives me a bit of a headache, but we just find ways to adapt it,” he continued.
“The thing is, if I come in with a routine that is designed for normal hold and it doesn’t work, we’ll change it.”
“I hate the idea of not being able to do something, so even if it didn’t go well at the beginning of the week, it’s staying in and we will get it by Saturday,” Lauren insisted.
“That’s what I love most about you,” AJ gushed.
The Strictly star previously hinted he and Lauren could be more than friends, telling The Mirror: “I am very protective of Lauren because we have worked so close together.
“There are different things that she will talk about in training that she would never talk about on camera.
“It’s for that reason that we have grown so close together and we will be friends for life and who knows in the future…” he added.
“You never know what is going to happen.”
