Debbie McGee: ‘Hotter than ever’ Former Strictly Come Dancing star gushes over judge

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Debbie McGee, 60, discussed the judges with the podcast’s presenters in which she said Darcey Bussell 49, was “hotter” on the show this year. Spilling all, Debbie said: “Is it just me or… Darcey always looks beautiful but this year she is looking sensational. “Hotter than ever and I think with her hair straight and shorter.. when it’s straight she just looks incredible.” The radio host also had her say on head judge Shirley Ballas, 58, who replaced Len Goodman on the show last year.

Debbie added: “She’s come out of her shell this year hasn’t she?

“And Shirley’s lost weight since from last year, I can see it or maybe she’s sitting up because she’s got more confidence but yeah she looks leaner.”

Debbie also discussed whether Darcey has a new tattoo on her arm of three stars after recently flashing the inking.

Speaking to the presenters, the Strictly star said: “Knowing Darcey as I do, I’m giving a little secret away here.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if it was a tattoo.”

Debbie went on to say the professional dancer had a “cheeky” side to her.

She added: “I mean she’s lovely, she’s got a really cheeky personality.

“And it wouldn’t surprise me if she’d done it to shock anyone or to feel that there is that little secret there that she has a tattoo.”

Debbie made it to the final on the show with her dance partner Giovanni Pernice, 28, last year.

The dancing duo missed out on the Glitterball trophy to Joe McFadden and his professional dance partner Katya Jones.

This year, Debbie’s former dance partner made it to the final with Steps star Faye Tozer.

Debbie reminisced over her time on the show by watching the dancing duo in action from the audience.

Chatting on her self-titled BBC Radio Berkshire show, she said: “I went back to Strictly last night and I had the most amazing time.

“It was so lovely to see everybody and they were all telling me they miss me and I miss them too.

“And, of course, to be reunited with my lovely Giovanni Pernice,” she continued.

“And I got to meet his new partner Faye, who I think is absolutely wonderful and she’s so lovely.”

This year’s series was won by BBC documentary maker Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.
