Injustice: Gods Among Us Review – Find Out What This Comic-Based Game Offers and Reasons to Play It

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a new game that has just been released by some of the creators of the Mortal Kombat franchise. Gods Among Us features the heroes and villains from DC Comics. It's a fighting came in which players can participate in the worlds of their favorite comic book characters.

As long as your computer or console can run the game, you can expect to engage in large, epic battles. Even though it's based on DC Comics characters, it still offers an original story that you can easily immerse yourself in.

The game world is fairly large. Hours of game play are offered, as there is always something to do. There are plenty of areas to explore, all of which are based around the mythologies of each DC character.

Unlike certain other comic book-based games, players actually get to play AS the heroes (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc …) or the villains (Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, and so forth …) than play as an original character who allies with their favorite hero or villain.

In today's role playing games, players generally get to choose what type of "class" they want to play. Injustice: Gods Among Us is no different. There are primarily two classes: power or magic-based classes and gadget-based classes. Superman would fall under the first category and Batman under the second. When it comes to playing characters, if you have a stat preference, you'll be glad to know that there are plenty to choose from. For instance, if you enjoy playing swift and agile characters, you could play as Green Arrow or Catwoman. If you prefer playing a character with brute strength, you might want to play Solomon Grundy.

Overall, the graphics are pretty good. The heroes and villains appear as lifelike as possible. The controls may take a bit of getting used to, but they are definitely worth trying to master. The combat mechanics are simple enough starting out, but as you level up, you need to learn how to master them. This makes the game a bit challenging, since it does not have the same ole 'standard controls as other fighter games. It's available for XBOX 360, Wii, and PS3.

One neat thing about the game is that it has an attack system that is broken down into heavy attacks, medium attacks, and light attacks. Each character has his or her own specific abilities.

If you're a fan of comics and gaming, then Injustice: Gods Among Us is a must-have. The graphics, game play, and immersive storyline make it a fun game.
