Stacey Dooley, 31, was reunited with her Strictly Come Dancing 2018 dance partner Kevin Clifton, 36, earlier this week on the ITV daytime show, This Morning. Speaking to This Morning presenters, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, the dancing duo revealed they will not be going on the Strictly tour together. Instead, Stacey will be partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec but the filmmaker may have revealed too much. Ruth asked: “Will you be doing the dances you did with Kevin with Aljaž?”
Stacey replied: “I think so. Don’t quote me… am I allowed to say or will I get in trouble?”
However, despite not knowing whether she should divulge viewers with more information, the journalist revealed she may be performing the Paso Doble on the Strictly Come Dancing tour next year.
She said: “I would suspect we are doing the Paso, that was my fave. And I would say a ballroom because he is so brilliant at the ballroom.”
Stacey will be joined by her fellow Strictly contestants, Ashley Roberts, Dr. Ranj Singh, Lauren Steadman, Faye Tozer, Joe Sugg and Graeme Swann on the Strictly Come Dancing tour in January.
Meanwhile, Stacey took to Instagram last night to comment on her knicker flash on the BBC final last weekend.
The documentary maker accidentally exposed her flesh-coloured knickers to millions of Strictly Come Dancing final viewers during her Paso Doble routine.
She has now addressed the incident on social media as she shared a picture with her 543,000 followers.
The photo saw a note which read: “… to flash your knickers on live TV. Check,” next to a tick.
Stacey captioned it: “Rounding off 2018 nicely. Always flashy. Never trashy.”
Fans flocked to the comment section with one fan writing: “My kinda girl just brilliant!”
Another person wrote: “Thought you were fabulous and love how you handle your reactions to these things, role model.”
A third person commented: “I love the fact that social media went mental over your knickers and you’ve just slammed them all down with no drama. No fuss and one box on your to do list ticked off. Love it.”
Speaking previously on This Morning, Stacey Dooley spilled a Strictly knicker flash secret.
The champion said: “[It’s] probably no real surprise. At least it was massive underwear. I thought, ‘They’re not even fancy, they’re not even lacy.’
“It’s like a built in bodysuit so they’re not even my own knickers.
“I didn’t even realise. When I went into wardrobe the girls were like, ‘Stacey, sorry, you were showing your area.’”
