Appearing on The Telegraph’s Talking Strictly podcast, Debbie McGee was was joined by 2016 winner Ore Oduba, 33, who hosted last year’s tour and is also set to present the upcoming live show. Asked what went on while the stars weren’t busy performing for fans across the UK, Debbie teased: “There’s one sort of secret that the girls wouldn’t mind me giving away… It was when we were in Belfast and we were staying a beautiful hotel that had a jacuzzi on the roof and it was in the open.

“We had a day off in Belfast, or we’d arrived there early or something, we had the rest of the day off and so there of the pro girl dancers and I went and sat in the jacuzzi for a while,” she recalled.

“And then we all went down to Katya’s [Jones] room, in our swimming costumes and bathrobes,” Debbie continued. “Neil [Jones] was out at the cinema or something with the boys, so we ordered food and rinks and things.

“This poor little waiter came in with the room service and looked at the four of us in our bathrobes and you could see his head was thinking, what on earth is going on here.

“About two hours later, Neil and Aljaz [Skorjanec] came in and they ordered room service so the same waiter came up,” the Strictly star continued cheekily.

“There was the four of us with Neil and Aljaz and then Giovanni came in and then he ordered room service and the same waiter came up.

“Every half hour the room increased in people,” she giggled. “And I’m saying no more.”

Debbie and Ore were joined on the previous Strictly tour by the likes of her 2017 co-stars Gemma Atkinson, 34, Susan Calman, 44, and winner Joe McFadden, 43.

Teasing the Strictly live tour 2019, Ore gushed: “I am so excited. I’ve been lucky to be part of the tour now two years in a row, next year will be my third.

“If you’ve ever dreamt of going to the studio to watch the show live on a Saturday night, go to the tour,” he urged.

“It is that show but just pumped up 10,000 times.”

For the first time ever, the tour will feature all four judges marking the stars each night.
