Strictly Come Dancing star ‘shuddered’ with regret after night’s antics ‘Did I really?’

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 gripped BBC viewers this year who saw Stacey Dooley, 31, and her professional dance partner Kevin Clifton, 36, lift the Glitterball trophy as the pair were crowned champions. However, one contestant has revealed he may have had a bit too much fun at the wrap party with the dreaded prospect many face after the work Christmas bashLee Ryan, 35, has said he “shuddered” the morning after: “This was me at the Strictly final recently, when I said I am just going to have one. “And the next day I woke up and you know you have that moment where you are like ‘oh no, did I really?’ and you just shudder.”

It comes after a former contestant recently revealed what singer Lee actually got up to at the event.

Speaking to the Telegraph’s Talking Strictly podcast, Dr Ranj Singh, 39, said: “At one point Lee Ryan was up on stage singing.”

He was not the only one with a microphone after the Strictly winner was also revealed to be singing.

Dr Ranj continued: “Stacey Dooley was singing songs. She had the microphone.

“I love Stacey but she is a much better dancer than she is a singer. It was fun.

“At one point they played a Steps track and Faye was up on stage and I was up there with her.”

But Dr Ranj admitted the contestants had not partied together since their time in Blackpool.

“[The after party] is a chance to let your hair down and just dance for fun. Before this the last time we got to do this was at the Blackpool show.”

According to The Sun, the Strictly contestants reportedly left Blackpool residents “livid” after they partied in the town until the early hours of the morning last month.

An onlooker described their night out as “carnage” claiming local residents were “livid” due to the noise according to the publication.

Meanwhile, Strictly contestant Seann Walsh was jokingly called a c••t by Lee during an Instagram video last weekend.

Seann, 32, posted a video on his Instagram story with the caption: “@officialLeeryan when did you go out?” from the studio, ahead of the live final last weekend.

The comedian began the video singing One Love by Blue, before panning the camera over to the latter.

The funny man then encouraged the 35-year-old to join in with singing before he jokingly sang: “I went out second you c***.”

After his surprising outburst, Seann covered his mouth in shock and the pair burst into fits of laughter.

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 final is available to watch on BBC iPlayer now.
