Kevin Clifton first love REVEALED: How Kevin's first love celebrated Strictly 2018 win?

Kevin Clifton had been part of the final four times before and always missed out on the top spot, but was finally crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing as presenter Claudia Winkleman claimed “finally the bride.” As the professional dancer was surrounded by other Strictly celebrities and dancers, he was lifted into the air with Stacey and the glitter ball trophy. He was also congratulated by his third wife, Karen Clifton, who seemed genuinely ecstatic about his win and warmly embraced him.

But another one of Kevin’s former partners has praised the dancer for the win.

His childhood sweetheart Kerri-Anne Donaldson posted a picture of them as teenagers.

She wrote alongside the picture: “My first boyfriend just won @bbcstrictly #welldeserved #strictlycomedancing Kevin Clifton.”

The 33-year-old works as a choreographer on Strictly.

The photo shows the pair together young teens dressed up to dance professionally.

The choreographer posted it alongside a selfie of the pair at the Strictly after-show party.

Kevin’s friends and family posted a series of comments over the photograph.

His mother Judy wrote: “Ahhh. Kerri great see you last night. Like we said; Those were the days xxx.”

Kerri replied: “They really were the good old days!!! So, so happy for Kevin and Stacey.”

Kevin and Kerri met when they competed against each during Latin and Ballroom dancing competitions.

They fell in love as teenagers, but their relationship did not last, although the dancers remain close.

Following his relationship with Kerri, Kevin has gone on to marry three times.

His last wife was Karen Clifton who he married on July11, 2015 after proposing when they were both starring in Burn the Floor on Broadway in 2009.

Karen also paid tribute to her ex-husband’s Strictly win.

The 36-year-old wrote on Instagram: “Our 2018 @bbcstrictly champions! @kevinclifton & @sjdooley.”

She added: “So proud and extremely happy for you guys.

“Kev – 5x finalist and you finally did it!! Your hard work, patience and pure brilliance paid off. So proud of you.

“Stacey – you are what Strictly is about girl!! My hero x Love you both.”
