Carol Vorderman 2018: Curvaceous beauty drops 'sex in space' bombshell

The 57-year-old former Countdown star was quizzed about her plans by Loose Women host Nadia Sawalha, 54. “I’ve heard very interesting rumours about you and space,” the presenter said. “A naughty New Year’s wish, dream, hope…” “Ah, yes,” Carol Vorderman said, smiling mischievously. “I would like to go to space and do certain things in space.” “Basically, she wants to be the first person to have sex in space!” Nadia announced, to cheers from the studio audience.

“Not by myself,” Carol laughed.

Jane Moore, 56, asked if sex in space would be possible “with gravity…” at which point the stunning star replied: “Well, this is what we’re debating at the moment.”

Carol went on to say one of her exes was the commander of the International Space Station as she opened up on her desire to go to space.

“Can’t you just go out with a builder like everyone else?” Jane asked.

Carol also revealed that, while she is still single, she had the best first date of her life this year.

Remaining tight-lipped over the identity of the man in question, she revealed he was “not British and not famous”.

Her return to Loose Women comes after she presented the ITV programme from 2011 until 2014.

Since then, she has made regular appearances on the show and has also stood in as a guest host on Lorraine.

She made her name on Channel 4 gameshow Countdown, performing the letters and numbers duties from 1982 until 2008.

The two-time Rear of the Year winner has been divorced twice and is a mother-of-two with her second husband Patrick King.

Carol recently spoke out about her love life, saying she was currently “dating”.

“I have lots of male friends and they’ll often introduce me to one of their friends and things go from there,” she told the Daily Mail.

“I am a big party person. I go to about two a week.

“Okay, I might be knackered the next morning, but so what? Life too short,” she added.

The sexy star revealed she didn’t see another marriage in her future.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
