Ashley Roberts: Strictly star competes in ANOTHER dance-off after losing out in final

Ashley Roberts, 37, and Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Pasha Kovalev, 38, made it through to the final of the show, having previously been in three dance-offs, but lost out to Stacey Dooley, 31, and Kevin Clifton, 36.

Following their win, the finalists and their fellow co-stars attended the after party.

Dr Ranj Singh, 39, spilled details on their party shenanigans on the Telegraph’s Talking Strictly podcast this week where he revealed Ashley showed off her dance moves in front of the whole crowd.

Talking about his highlight from their evening, Dr Ranj spoke about one particular young man competing against the former Pussycat Dolls bandmember.

He spilled: “There was this fantastic young man there, keep forgetting his name, he has Down’s Syndrome. He was one of the best dancers there!”

Revealing details on their night, Dr Ranj continued: “He had another dance-off with Ashley and it was incredible to watch.

“So if you’re listening young man, please tell us what your name is because I’ve forgotten, I’m so bad. I know we had a picture together and I know he was there with his mum.”

Praising him, Dr Ranj added: “He was awesome! Absolutely incredible! I think we need to have him back on the show in some shape or form because he gave Ashley a run for his money.”

The This Morning doctor also divulged details about Stacey and revealed the documentary maker belt out some songs on the night.

Speaking about the after party, he said: “At one point Lee Ryan was up on stage singing.

“Stacey Dooley was singing songs. She had the microphone.”

However, Dr Ranj wasn’t too impressed with Stacey’s vocal skills and admitted she should stick to dancing.

“I love Stacey but she is a much better dancer than she is a singer,” he said. “It was fun.”

Dr Ranj added: “At one point they played a Steps track and Faye was up on stage and I was up there with her.”

At the bash, Stacey could be seen showing off her dance skills after being crowned the winner of the series with Kevin.

In a video uploaded by professional dancer Amy Dowden, the star stood on a raise platform to showcase her moves whilst wearing a silk white dress.

The beauty appeared to be dancing the same routine from when the celebrities performed during Gloria Estefan’s segment on the show on Blackpool week.

Stacey seemed in high spirits as she danced with a huge smile plastered on her face.

Amy wrote on the clip: “Our Strictly champ @sjdooley.”

Strictly Come Dancing is expected to return to BBC One in 2019.
