Ronda Rousey plans for Royal Rumble revealed, what is set to happen at WWE TLC?

The UFC legend has impressed since making her debut back at WrestleMania.

Rousey became the RAW Women’s Champion when she beat Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam in August.

And current plans have Rousey set to face Charlotte Flair at the Royal Rumble, according to respected journalist Dave Meltzer.

“I’m pretty sure they’re gonna go with Ronda and Charlotte at Royal Rumble,” he said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

“Based on everything I heard, that was the direction.”

If Meltzer is correct with his plans that means the door is open for Rousey to face current SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at WrestleMania.

The two were meant to meet at Survivor Series last month.

But following an errant Nia Jax punch, Lynch broke her nose and suffered a concussion meaning she was unable to compete.

The scenes sparked excitement among fans at the prospect of the two finally colliding at the marquee event.

WWE TLC takes place from midnight in the UK.

Lynch will defend her title against Flair and Asuka in the first ever women’s tables, ladders and chairs match.

Other matches on the card include the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan taking on AJ Styles.

Dean Ambrose will face off with former Shield team-mate Seth Rollins.

Braun Strowman is set to return from injury for a match with Baron Corbin while Buddy Murphy will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Cedric Alexander.

In total there are 12 matches announced for the show.
