What do Kate and Meghan wear to Christmas? Duchess of Sussex wore sexy dress last year

Meghan Markle, 37, and Kate Middleton, 37, will both attend Christmas at Sandringham this year. They will both eat dinner with the Queen, as is customary. It is even said that Meghan Markle’s mother Doria will be joining the royals from LA. What do the royals wear on Christmas day?

Last year Meghan Markle wore a very sexy dress to attend church with the Queen.

The royals broke with tradition when Meghan was invited to Christmas despite not being married to Prince Harry.

The pair married in May this year, in a fairy tale wedding.

Meghan wore a red dress with a daringly low neckline.

Candian Club Monaco revealed the former-actress wore a velvet dress from their collection.

The “Tay” dress costs £220, and Meghan wore it with £630 Stuart Weitzman’s Hiline high-heeled suede boots in brown and a brown Chloe handbag worth £1,050.

Kate Middleton, on the other hand, wore a tartan look last Christmas.

She wore a tartan coat worth £1,328 from Italian brand Miu Miu.

The double breasted wool-blend peacoat was paired with black tights and black boots, and a black furry hat.

However, reports suggest Kate and Meghan may dress up somewhat for Christmas dinner.

ThisIsInsider.com states: “Christmas dinner at Sandringham is a black-tie affair, where women wear gowns and tiaras.”

Rumours of a Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle rift have been reported this week.

A royal expert claimed Kate could find Christmas Day with the Royal Family an “ordeal” this year.

The expert analysed the last time the so-called Fab Four were seen together, on November 11.

Judi James told Express.co.uk: “Given that this was a formal occasion and given that the two couples are sporting some species of smile as they pose together it might seem unfair to pick the bones of the theory that there are rifts between them.”
