Fortnite Season 7 LEAKS: Bad news for fans of NEW Battle Royale skins

fans have been dealt a blow today, as a popular leaker shuts down his channel.

FNBRLeaks has always been an excellent source of news for fans hoping to get a look at new skins and possible in-game events.

But according to a recent post by the operator of the channel, Epic Games wants to put an end to FNBRLeaks.

This means there will be no more leaked skins when new updates go live.

“I am not going to go into specifics with this, but,” reads an FNBRLeaks post. “Due to the request of an Epic Games Attorney who i’m not going to disclose, my Twitter, Discord, YouTube, Instagram, and GitHub must be deleted, or else they will take action.

“Thank you all for the support and followers over my 7 month span of the FNBRLeaks twitter. Sadly, everything comes to an end.”

In the cease and desist letter (via Eurogamer), Epic argues that FNBRLeaks “spoiled the game for millions of of people who play and/or watch Fortnite, and negatively impact[ed] those who work hard to create and update Fortnite”.

FNBRLeaks has been asked to remove any unauthorsied Epic-related material, which is unfortunate for fans who like knowing what is coming up.

While it’s understandable that Epic Games would want to limit leaked content, sites and channels like FNBRLeaks have been instrumental in building excitement among hardcore Fortnite fans.

It will be interesting to see if Epic Games makes the same demands of other sites and channels that promote leaked content.

The news comes as Epic Games announces plans to nerf the newly released Infinity Blade, which can be found in Polar Peak.

A number of Fortnite players found the Infinity Blade is too powerful and when in play upsets the balance of a Battle Royale match.

But in a post online Epic Games has now revealed that the Fortnite Infinity Blade will be getting nerfed in the upcoming Fortnite 7.10 update.

Community manager Nathan Mooney said: “We released the Mythic Infinity Blade item with the v7.01 update and have since seen a healthy amount of discussion and feedback around it.

“In response to what we’ve seen, we’re looking to provide more context on item philosophy and some upcoming changes to the Blade.”

He explained: “The change we’re currently planning for the Infinity Blade in our v7.10 update is to remove the ability to build and harvest when wielding the Blade.

“When designing the Infinity Blade the goal was to provide a weapon with inherent risk to balance out the great capability it provides – the ability to harvest/build removes a great deal of that risk.”
