Melania Trump HUMILIATES Donald in EXPLOSIVE rant – ’I don’t agree with his tone’

During a rare interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Mrs Trump acknowledged her husband “knows the consequences” of his behaviour but says “he is a fighter”. The 48-year-old rarely gives pubic interviews unlike the outspoken US President but she continued on his ‘fake news’ agenda. She told Mr Hannity the “hardest” part of her role is dealing with the “opportunists” in the media.

When asked the question Mrs Trump said: “I would say the opportunists who are using my name or my family name to advance themselves – from comedians, to journalists, to performers, book writers…”

She added: “It doesn’t hurt. The problem is they’re writing history and it’s not correct.”

The Slovenian born Mrs Trump appeared very comfortable during the one-on-one interview and spoke at length about her personal life in the spotlight and acknowledged she needed “thick skin”.

Mrs Trump said: “I do what I think is right. I know I will get the criticism – from the public or from the media – but I will do what is right and what I feel is right for the country and for the people.”

She added: “Politics is a tough business you need thick skin.”

Mrs Trump also admitted she struggles to keep up to date with all the news but she does offer her “honest opinion” to her husband on matters but this often falls on deaf ears, “sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesn’t”.

Mr Trump who was elected into the White House in 2016 continues to divide the country and suffered a setback at the midterm elections losing the House of Representatives to the Democrats.

However the First Lady has hailed the job he is doing but refused to confirm whether he would run for a second term in office.

She said: “I think my husband is doing an incredible job.

“The country is doing the best ever.”

She added: “I want the country to continue to do well. I want the country to continue to do well.”

Mr Hannity was interviewing Mrs Trump aboard the USS George H.W Bush, where she was visiting service personnel ahead of the Christmas period.

The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier was named after the father of George W Bush who passed away this month aged 94.

In a tribute to the military personnel, she said: “It’s very important that we support them.

“Holidays are coming, not many of them, they will be with their families so for me it’s very important to show them that the president and I and the country, we are behind them.”
