Champions League draw: Who can Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City face in knockout stages?

Manchester United and Manchester City were already in the last 16 ahead of their clashes on Wednesday evening.

They were joined by Liverpool and Tottenham in the hat on Tuesday.

The Reds beat Napoli 1-0 at Anfield, while Tottenham drew 1-1 against Barcelona to match Inter Milan’s result and progress.

When is the draw?

The draw will take place on December 17 in Nyon, Switzerland.

It will start at 11am UK time and the draw will be streamed on UEFA’s official website.

How does the draw work?

The eight group winners are seeded, however, the runners-up are not.

Teams from the same group or country cannot be drawn together meaning City, United, Tottenham and Liverpool will not face each other.

When are the last-16 games?

The ties will take place on February 12/13 or February 19/20.

The second legs will be played on March 5/6 or 12/13.
