Champions League draw: Who can Liverpool, Tottenham and Man Utd face in knockout stages?

Manchester United and Manchester City had already reached the last 16 ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League fixtures.

They are joined by Liverpool and Tottenham in the next round.

United and City both play on Wednesday night to finalise the round of 32 stage.

When is the draw?

The draw will take place on December 17 in Nyon, Switzerland.

It will start at 11am UK time and the draw will be streamed on the UEFA website.

Who is in the draw?

Ajax, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Porto, Real Madrid, Roma and Schalke were already in the hat.

Liverpool and Tottenham joined them, along with PSG.

How does the draw work?

The eight group winners are seeded, however, the runners-up are not.

Teams from the same group or country cannot be drawn together meaning City, United, Tottenham and Liverpool will not face each other.

When are the last-16 games?

The ties will take place on February 12/13 or February 19/20.

The second legs will be played on March 5/6 or 12/13.
