Galaxy S10 could include one of the best Pixel 3 features

Galaxy S10 is expected to be announced by Samsung in February and release the following month, as is tradition with the product line.

The device has been heavily rumoured to bring a host of dramatic new changes and features to the table that will surely please fans.

Samsung has been touted to release at least three versions of the Galaxy S10 next year, a move that would represent a huge divergence from years past that have typically seen only standard and “+” models released.

A recent report from Bloomberg, that cited people familiar with the matter, insisted the third version of the Galaxy S10 will forgo some premium features in exchange for a cheaper price tag.

The Wall Street Journal has also claimed a fourth version of the Galaxy S10 is in the works that has six cameras, a gargantuan 6.7-inch display and is capable of delivering 5G network speeds.

As the launch of the Galaxy S10 draws closer, rumours and leaks surrounding the hardware have become more prominent.

In fact, 91Mobiles, in collaboration with OnLeaks, recently showcased alleged renders of the Galaxy S10+.

The hardware was shown with four cameras on its rear and flaunted a display with incredibly minimal bezels.

No fingerprint scanner was visible on the product, suggesting Samsung will indeed place its reader underneath the display of the S10.

By far the most eye-catching aspect of the device was a cutout with the phone’s screen itself that housed the front-facing camera sensors.

The pill-shaped hole is not a traditional notch and appears to be part of an effort from Samsung to deliver a futuristic new look to fans.

91Mobiles insisted the Galaxy S10 will boast two-front facing lenses although the exact function of each is unknown.

It is assumed one sensor will offer a more typical field of view while the second could be used to offer a wide-angle perspective.

If Samsung opted for such functionality it could radically challenge one of the Google Pixel 3’s best features.

The American tech giant’s newest flagship debuted in October and comes with two eight-megapixel cameras on its front.

In its marketing material for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, Google has been keen to tout the added functionality introduced by the secondary wide-angle sensor.

Such hardware allows for more subjects to fit into selfies that have become increasingly popular on handheld devices.

Although the renders presented by 91Mobiles are incredibly tantalising, it is worth noting that neither the Galaxy S10 nor any of its features have been officially confirmed by Samsung.

Instead, fans will have to wait until next year to see what the tech firm has in store for the future of its S-line flagships.
