A big Fortnite Shop update is expected to rollout out tonight, bringing with it fresh Season 7 skins.

New outfits are added to the Fortnite Item Shop every Sunday and usually run for around 24 hours.

And with the start of Season 7, fans are expecting a new wave of cosmetics to arrive very soon.

This new Fortnite Shop update is expected to arrive in the early hours of Sunday morning, possibly around 1am.

And when it comes predicting what new skins will be added to the game, fans might have a good guess on what will be debuting first.

When Season 7 was launched, it was released as part of a bigger update that included some new skins.

And these fresh designs aren’t linked to the new Season 7 Battle Pass, meaning they could be used for item shop updates.

Some of these leaked skins have an aerial theme, which would fit in with the launch of the new planes found on the map.

There’s the Wingtip outfit, the Cloudbreaker skin and the Waypoint costume. All three are rare skins.

If they are released as Rare outfits, it will mean that they will cost a lot less than the top tier Legendary skins.

A price tag of around 1,200 V-Bucks will be expected for any skins within the Rare category.

Discovered by Lucas7Yoshi, the new skins don’t have an official release date, but should be available from the in-game shop in the future.

This could mean that they will launch as part of the first Fortnite Shop update for Season 7.

There is also the chance that Epic Games have some other designs in reserve that haven’t been released yet or found by data miners.

There is always room for surprises when it comes to Epic Games, so this will remain speculation until the update releases later today.

With every shop update from Epic Games, there are also new items to be bought that are not outfits.

Players can expect new gliders and axes to be announced later today, unless Epic Games decides to mix things up.

Six new pickaxes have been found so far and include the following designs: Scratchmark, Scorcher, Ice, Scepter, Icicle and Abominable Axe.

These will likely fit in with existing or new skins being released as part of Fortnite Season 7.

Then there are the new gliders, which include the Rickety Runner, Tactical Sleigh, Glidurrr and Royale Air.

The Royale Air might be picked for today’s update if Epic Games are going with an aerial theme this weekend.

Fans who aren’t interested in spending their real cash on cosmetics don’t have to worry about missing out on any in-game rewards.

As the development team notes whenever selling cosmetic items, the stuff bought from the item shop does not provide bonuses.

They are purely cosmetic, so fans shouldn’t worry about losing a fight with another player because they have paid for better gear.

The battle pass costs 950 V-Bucks to buy and offer some of the best outfits in season 7.

The Tier 100 items will be the ones everyone will want to get their hands on, although that will take some dedication when it comes to completing weekly challenges.

The challenges are separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty.

The hard difficulty Fortnite challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

So for those who are skipping the Battle Pass or are just interested in what new designs will be coming to the Fortnite Item Shop in Season 7, the first reveal is coming very soon.
