Fleur East: Is she still part of Syco? Is she with Simon Cowell's record label

Fleur East, 31, has proved an immensely popular campmate during her stint down under in I’m a Celebrity. She’s often found to be cracking jokes and regularly shows off her amazing vocals, enjoying a night of karaoke this week at the Jungle Arms with her fellow celebrities. The singer-songwriter shot to fame on ITV’s X Factor, appearing not once but twice. Her first shot at the talent show contest was with girl band Addictive Ladies in 2005.

The group made it to the live shows but were evicted in the first week.

But Fleur’s second crack at X Factor was as a solo artist in 2014 where she came up runner-up to eventual winner Ben Haenow.

She signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco Music in January 2015, releasing catchy tune Sax in November.

Is Fleur still part of Syco? Is she with Simon Cowell’s record label?

Fleur is no longer with Syco having “parted ways” with the music label in October 2017.

The announcement came after Fleur’s debut album Love, Sax and Flashbacks only reached number 14 in the charts.

The record also received mixed reviews from critics.

Speaking at the time, a source told MailOnline: ‘Fleur had some great times with Syco but it was felt by both sides now was the time to go down different paths.

“She will always remain a friend of the label – because everyone’s really fond of her.”

Although she has been spending time eating bugs in the jungle, Fleur is believed to be preparing an imminent return to the charts.

She is said to be in the final stages of putting together her second album after signing with Hunter Corp Records.

A statement on Fleur’s website also teases that new music is on the way, although a little later than first anticipated.

It says: “With new music planned for release in November this year, Fleur is busy preparing to come back with a bang!”

Will Fleur win I’m A Celebrity 2018?

Football manager Harry Redknapp is on track to be crowned this year’s King of the Jungle, according to the bookies.

He’s on odds of 1/3 while Emily is in second place with a 6/1 chance.

Flour is the least likely to win with odds of just 14/1.
