LeBron James: Did you see what Spurs did to Lakers star ahead of NBA clash?

The Spurs take on the Lakers this evening as the NBA season continues.

The Lakers are 15-9 going into the games while Spurs are second bottom of the Western Conference with a 11-14 record.

LeBron James has shone in LA since his move from Cleveland Cavaliers during the offseason.

In his first season with the Lakers, LeBron is averaging 28.4 points per game as well as 7.6 rebounds and 6.6 assists.

But Spurs seem to think he is in his ROOKIE season despite making his NBA debut in 2003.

In a team guide, Spurs have listed LeBron’s experience as R, indicating he is in his rookie season.

As it is, LeBron is closer to retirement than he is to beginning his NBA career.

And Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr recently admitted it’s unlikely there will ever be another LeBron.

“Forever people were trying to predict who the next Michael Jordan was,” he said.

“And there was no next Jordan.

“Now people are trying to predict the next LeBron.

“There is no next LeBron.”

Will LeBron James play against San Antonio Spurs?

James is fit to play on Friday with Brandon Ingram being the only casualty from the previous game.

The 33-year-old has suffered some recent criticism regarding his performances but his back after inspiring the Lakers to victory over the Spurs.

“I’m past the [taking things] personal stage,” James said. “I can do whatever. I can have a huge workload, I can have a not so huge workload – it doesn’t matter for me.

“What’s most important is seeing my teammates make huge shots in the fourth quarter. That’s what’s most important to me.

“I can care less about the narrative about me. It doesn’t matter. I’m a staple in this game.”
