Fortnite PS4 update PATCH NOTES and Creative Mode release date NEWS

Fortnite fans can download another new patch on PS4, just hours after the release of update 7.0.

Fortnite developer Epic Games announced the news on Twitter, telling fans what’s included in the patch.

According to Epic Games, the new update fixes matchmaking issues, but only on PlayStation 4.

“We’ve just released a PS4 patch with fixes for crashes and incorrect matchmaking region settings,” reads an Epic tweet.

“If you’re still experiencing crashes on PC, please update your drivers to the latest version.”

That’s it for the patch notes, and no downtime is required, so it shouldn’t impact your Season 7 gameplay session too much.

Once you’re done with the update, you can get back to playing the brand new Creative mode.

Fortnite Creative mode was announced ahead of Season 7, and launched as part of update 7.0.

The new mode lets players design their own mini-games, maps and battles on a private island.

Better yet, the best community creations will appear in the main Battle Royale mode as part of The Block.

The only catch is that Fortnite Creative mode is currently limited to Battle Pass owners.

Fortunately, the full Creative mode release date isn’t too far away.

If you don’t own a Season 7 Battle Pass and want to make your own fun in Creative mode, you can join in on December 13.

If your creation is good enough, Epic may eventually post it to The Block.
