Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham split: Love Island stars set for ‘AWKWARD’ reunion

Love Island 2018 winners Dani Dyer, 22, and Jack Fincham, 26, took to their Instagram pages last month to announce their joint presenting job. Holding NTA trophies, the duo cosied up beaming for the cameras. Jack wrote: “So excited to reveal the news that myself and @danidyerxx we are going to be the National Television Awards 2019 social media hosts #NTAs.”(sic) Since the news of their split, many fans have flocked to the post to query if the pair will still go ahead with their scheduled National Television Awards stint.

One user commented: “A bit awkward since they’ve broken up.”

A second added: “So they not doing this together?”

A third wrote: “How is this going to work then if [they’re] not together anymore?”

Dani also shared the news on her Instagram page in view of her 3.4 million followers.

She wrote: “Amazing news… we are going to be the National Television Awards 2019 Social Media Hosts! #NTAs.”

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Dani and Jack for a comment.

Last night, Dani took to her Instagram to reveal the Love Island stars have parted ways after six months of dating.

In a now-deleted post, she wrote: “Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways.

“It’s been an incredible six months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we’ve sadly come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term.

“We both plan top stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. Love Dani x.”

Jack is yet to address the split, but took to his Instagram page yesterday to upload a picture of himself.

He flashed a huge smile to the camera in what appears to be a bar.

In view of his two million followers, he commented: “Another day another hat.”

The Love Island winners had recently moved in together and also share a dog.

Jack asked Dani to be his girlfriend in the villa back in July, with their relationship capturing the heart’s of the nation.

The pair were voted the winners by the public, winning the big prize of £50,000.
