Walmart is counting down the days until the holidays, with new sale items every day.

Once stores get Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales under their belts, they immediately shift gears to holiday sales. Hence we’re already in the midst of Amazon’s 12 Days of Deals, Best Buy’s 20 Days of Doorbusters and Walmart’s 20 Days of Deals, to name just a few.
So what’s good? I’m here to tell you. No, literally: I’ll be here every day until the calendar strikes Dec. 25 to give you updates on these and other sales and to highlight the ones that are really worth your time.
Today’s PC-themed roundup includes a smattering of desktops and laptops — such as a refurbished Dell Chromebook convertible for $250 — and quite a lot of accessories.
Top pick: The Toshiba Canvio Basics 2TB USB 3.0 portable hard drive for $48.47 (save $19.52). You don’t get any backup software, but you do get an amazing amount of speedy storage that can fit in your pocket.
Best Buy has just six doorbusters today, but there are some solid buys in that small group — including an Insignia over-the-ear wireless headphone for $25.
Top pick: HP Envy x360 15.6-inch laptop for $650 (save $200). This top-rated HP is back to Black Friday-level pricing. It has the one feature I consider essential — a solid-state drive, in this case a 256GB one — and plenty of nice perks, including a 360-degree hinged screen, a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint reader.
Samsung’s festivities kicked off on Nov. 29, but with an exclusive one-day-only offer on each day. So there’s no top pick, per se, only today’s option.
Today’s deal: Get a free gift when you buy a select 65- or 75-inch Samsung TV. The options vary depending on which size you choose. With the 65-inch, for example, you can get a free 7-inch tablet, AKG On-Ear Headphones or SmartThings Wifi hub. The 75-incher will land you a free Samsung Powerbot vacuum, 10-inch tablet, Gear Sport watch or Chromebook.
Walmart has exactly 20 items on sale today — a little of everything, including a Dell 27-inch gaming monitor for $179 and a portable gas grill for $50.
Top pick: Flux Watt Hoverboard with 6-inch wheels for $99 (save $50). With most battery fire concerns safely in the past, hoverboards are ready for their comeback. This model features a training mode that limits the top speed — great for younger kids learning to, er, hover.
