Melania Trump opted for a solemn black coat as she arrived to pay her respects to the late president at the National Cathedral, Washington DC, today.
The 48-year-old’s garment featured a black belt at her waist, which had a gold buckle.
Featuring a double-breast, the coat is thought to be by Proenza Schouler, and could be worth $2,275 – which is around £1,786.
The US First Lady teamed the garment with a pair of black pointed high heels.
She wore her sleek locks in loose curls around her shoulders.
In terms of her make-up, Melania opted for lashings of mascara – creating a smoky eye look.
As she made her way into the cathedral for the state funeral, she walked beside her husband, Donald Trump, 72.
The couple held hands as they walked towards their seats – both exhibiting sombre expressions.
The current US President wore a smart black coat, suit, and vibrant blue tie.
Having reached the front row of seats, Donald and Melania took their reserved places – beside the most recent former President and First Lady: Barack Obama, 57, and Michelle Obama, 54.
In some pictures, Donald could be seen leaning over his wife to greet the couple, shaking both of their hands.
To the left of the former First Lady was the 42nd US President, Bill Clinton, 72.
Hillary Clinton, 71, who ran for office against President Trump back in 2016, was also pictured, sitting to the left of her husband.
In the snaps, the First Lady looked on towards the front of the chapel, while Donald and Melania settled into their seats.
The visit came following the death of George’s father, former President George H. W. Bush.
The late American politician, who died at the age of 94, served in office as the President between 1989 until 1993.
He was succeeded by Bill Clinton, with George W. Bush going on to take over in office between 2001 and 2009.
The late politician passed away in Houston, Texas, on November 30.

Languages
Mum-of-one Melania can speak more languages than any other First Lady before her: English, French, German, Italian, Serbian and of course her mother tongue, Slovenian.
This also makes her the only First Lady whose first language is not English.

After Jacqueline Kennedy, Melania is the second First Lady who is a practising Catholic.
She met Pope Francis as part of a foreign tour with her husband and stepdaughter Ivanka last year.

Family
Melania’s parents are Amalija Knavs and Viktor Knavs, and the couple live together in Washington.
She has one sister, Ines, who is reported to live in New York and work as an artist.
Charity
On May 7 2018, Melania launched her flagship campaign as First Lady, BE BEST, which The White House describes as “an awareness campaign focused entirely around the well-being of children”.
There are three main strands to the initiative: well-being, social media, and opioid abuse.
