Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho has texted club officials THIS about Paul Pogba before Arsenal

Manchester United boss Mourinho reportedly gave Pogba a huge dressing room dressing down in the wake of the club’s dire 2-2 Premier League draw with Southampton at the weekend.

The Red Devils saw themselves heading for defeat after Stuart Armstrong and Cedric Soares had found the net.

Manchester United rescued a point, though, courtesy of goals from Ander Herrera and Romelu Lukaku.

Regarding Paul Pogba, however, and it was another afternoon for the France international and World Cup winner to forget.

The 25-year-old gave the ball away 14 times at the St Mary’s Stadium.

And, after the match, Mourinho gave his United midfielder a huge telling-off.

The Independent say, though, that the relationship is now at an all-time low.

It is claimed that Mourinho is losing patience with the United star, who signed from Juventus for £89million two years ago.

And he has supposedly texted club officials that he is running out of ways to motivate his star performer.

At the start of the season, the United manager tried the charm offensive.

“Pogba was a monster,” said the United boss after their 2-1 Premier League win over Leicester.

“We thought maximum 60 minutes but he managed over 80.

“The decision belonged to Paul. I asked him and he made himself available and he was very good.”

He has also tried the tough love approach, though.

And it appears the United manager, according to the Independent, has told club officials he is at a loss as to how the player is still struggling.

Meanwhile, Pogba could feature when the Red Devils face Arsenal in the Premier League tonight (7.45pm).

The Gunners go into the match on a high after beating Tottenham 4-2 on Sunday.
