Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall wears stunning Greville tiara at Buckingham Palace reception

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall arrived at Buckingham Palace last night for an evening reception for members of the Diplomatic Corps.

The 71-year-old Duchess joined her husband Prince Charles, 70, and Queen Elizabeth II, 92, for the opulent royal reception.

Camilla wore an elegant cream satin gown embellished with beaded details by Bruce Oldfield for the event with a blue sash and the Royal Family Order yellow ribbon.

She completed her outfit with the stunning Grenville tiara.

The incredible diamond and platinum tiara was created in 1921 by French jewellery house Boucheron for the Hon. Mrs Greville – a friend of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.

It is sometimes referred to as the Boucheron tiara.

Following her death in 1942, her jewels including this tiara were left to Queen Elizabeth, who often wore the beautiful piece of jewellery.

The Duchess of Cornwall opted for her favourite pearl necklace to complete her outfit and was pictured greeting guests at the annual white tie reception.
