Anne Hegerty: I'm A Celebrity star has Geri Horner makeover for The Chase Christmas show

Anne Hegerty became the fifth contestant to be booted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last night, but fans won’t have to wait long to see her on the small screen again.

The quiz genius is lined up to appear in The Chase Christmas special and had to undergo a huge transformation for the show.

She was made-up to look like Spice Girl legend Geri Horner and wore similar gear to the ’90s popstar for the ITV programme.

Sporting a Union Jack dress like the 46-year-old singer, Anne excluded Geri’s confidence as she flashed a peace sign.

The 60-year-old also donned a ginger wig, with blonde streaks to look more like the mother-of-two for the festive episode.

In one photo, Anne is seen posing beside The Chase host Bradley Walsh, who also stars in the current Doctor Who series.

However, the presenter was not dressed up like the trivia star and instead wore a navy suit and crisp white shirt.

A second snap, captured Anne on her own, sitting on the high chair above the game board with a mischievous grin on her face.

The TV personality was heavily made-up for the special occasion and pouted her lips with ruby lipstick, while her eyes were coated with dark eyeshadow and mascara.

For The Chase Christmas special Anne and her fellow co-stars will go head-to-head with some of the biggest names in the sports and entertainment industry.

Competitors include tennis coach Judy Murray, sports commentator John Inverdale, acting legend Bernard Cribbins and TV presenter Scarlett Moffatt.

Last night, Anne was kicked off I’m A Celebrity after 19 days in the Australian jungle, following a public vote.

Joining hosts Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby to discuss her journey on the show, Dec asked her about the first few days in the show.

“It was awful at the beginning, I was just a zombie in snake rock for the first 24 hours,” she began.

“It was funny doing the swim across the lake, but then we were just walking and walking and I was like, ‘We’re walking into hell.’

“I just couldn’t process it, the reality hit me and I was like, ‘What have I done, what was I thinking.’

“I went into the BT [Bush Telegraph] the next morning and said ‘I quit,’” Anne admitted.

“But 18 days later and you’re still here,” Holly exclaimed.

Making a joke of the situation, Anne replied addressing the viewers for keeping her in so long: “What was that about? You lunatics!”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight on ITV at 9pm.
