Mohamed Salah is frustrating me! Liverpool star sent strong message on live TV

That is according to ESPN FC pundit and former Chelsea and Scotland midfielder Craig Burley.

Salah is Liverpool’s top scorer this season with nine goals in his 20 appearances in all competitions.

He has helped Jurgen Klopp’s side to second in the Premier League table, two points behind leaders Manchester City after 14 matches.

But Burley does not think the Egyptian or his team-mates have been at their scintillating best.

He was speaking after Liverpool’s last-gasp Merseyside derby win over Everton on Sunday.

And the pundit claims Salah needs to stay on his feet and forget about any fancy skills.

“Everton played well, he’s got a good side Marco Silva,” Burley said.

“They created their own chances, I think Alisson had to make some excellent saves. So they played well.

“It was typical of Liverpool recently, they’re not the swashbuckling Liverpool at the moment.

“Mo Salah is frustrating me as well by the way.

“He needs to stay on his feet, he just needs to stay on his feet.

“He’s all flicks and tricks at the moment.

“I think he needs to get back on his game properly.”

Liverpool are back in action on Wednesday when they visit struggling Burnley.

Sean Dyche’s side are 19th in the table having won just two of their 14 matches this season.
