He first shot to fame back in 1990, after taking on the lead role of eight-year-old Kevin McCallister in Home Alone. The actor’s performance saw him scoop a nomination for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. Macaulay returned to the big screen just months later, starring in the 1991 comedy-drama My Girl, before reprising his festive role in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York the following year. He’s also appeared in movies such as The Good Son, The Nutcracker, and Richie Rich.
