American iPhone and computing giant Apple has highlighted the best app for its slew of hi-tech devices. Apple described the list with this statement on its site: “The Best of 2018 is global collection of top charts and selects from our editors across every category highlighting all of the amazing things to watch, read, listen to and play across apps, music, podcasts, books, TV and movies.”
Apple has crowned Procreate Pocket as the best iPhone app of 2018.
Procreate Pocket (£3.92 / $4.99 from the App Store) is the iPhone version of the popular Procreate iPad drawing app, allowing users to create while on the move.
Apple awarded the best iPhone game of the year to Donut County (£3.92 / $4.99 from the App Store), a physics puzzle game.
Apple listed Froggipedia (£3.92 / $4.99 from the App Store) as the best iPad app of the year.
Froggipedia is an artificial reality based app that lets users experience dissecting a frog.
Apple’s favourite iPad game of the year is Gorogoa, a story-based puzzle game.

Fitness application Sweat is honoured with app of the year by Apple.
The 2018 Apple TV game of the year according to Apple is the popular Alto’s Odyssey.
Apple crowned image editing tool Pixelmator Pro as the app of the year.
While surreal puzzle adventure The Gardens Between was named as the best game of 2018.
Not to be left out, the best apps on the Apple Watch listed, including Carrot Weather, Overcast, Lifesum, among others.

Apple’s best podcasts went to This American Life, Serial, among others.
Apple’s “best movies” included Black Panther and A Star is Born among others.
Apple’s Best TV show included The Good Place and The Americans.
